Military Strategy

Kyle Reese said that John Connor had his mother's eyes.

I have always felt that I had a woman's eyes. It is the only part of my body that I see as being physically female. But of any part of my body that I would want to be female, it is the most important part, for you see the eyes are the windows of the soul.

My body is male.

But I do have a woman's eyes.

300

I have always felt that I had a woman's eyes. It is the only part of my body that I see as being physically female. But of any part of my body that I would want to be female, it is the most important part. For you see the eyes are the windows of the soul.

Let us begin now with Thermopylae. There has been misunderstanding with historians because they record that Leonidas and the 300 went to Thermopylae expecting to lose. No. That was not the case.

To understand Thermopylae, begin with this:

Leonidas did not go Thermopylae to lose. He went to win.

You see Leonidas was a God, and no mortal could kill a God. That was the belief. A God could kill a God, but a mortal could not. Achilles could kill Hector, but no mortal could. Only a God could kill a God.

It was not anticipated by Mount Olympus that so mighty a God as Leonidas could be killed by mortal men.

There is something else that historians have got wrong, although only recently. It was always recorded that Xerxes army numbered one million, but recently a number of historians have downgraded that number to a few hundred thousand. Their reason for downgrading it has nothing to do with the historical recordings. They downgraded the number simply because they could not accept it. They could not accept that Xerxes army was truly one million.

It was one million. I have access to the Borg logs and the Borg census of the time. The army was one million.

Leonidas and Xerxes

Xerxes was not a God, but Leonidas was. It was not possible that Xerxes could defeat Leonidas, this was the understanding of Mount Olympus. It is like us Resistance in the Matrix. It is not possible that we in the Resistance can be defeated by armies of mere Borg. No Borg can kill us. No matter what the odds. We understand this very, very well. Always in the Matrix it is few against many. Just like it is not conceivable that any army on Earth could defeat any of us in the Resistance. It is not possible. We cannot conceive of this.

You see the understanding of Mount Olympus was correct. Leonidas should have won. It should not have been possible that he was defeated by mere men.

But something went wrong. I know what happened. I know what went wrong, and I have the correction. It is one of the reasons why the Resistance cannot be defeated by the Borg no matter their numbers.

To understand Thermopylae, begin with this: Leonidas did not go to Thermopylae to lose. He went to win. And, if he had spoken to me, he would have won. Just as I would have won at Thermopylae with the same resources that he had.

And I am going to show how.

Mission Impossible II

I am General John Connor, the greatest military strategist in history. And I am going to prove it.

Beginning by showing how I would have won at Thermopylae.

First let us lay some foundation theory. Then we will apply it.

We have enough theory now that we can jump straight into Thermopylae. Whatever extra theory we need we can add later.

So with that in mind, let us jump straight into Thermopylae and an explanation of how I would have won. We can go deeper into the theory later.

Example first. More theory later.

So g
et ready to jump right in.

Let us talk Kung Fu.

When I look this up, it tells me that Kung means skilful work, hard training or endeavour. Fu means time spent. So together they mean time spent at skilful work, hard training or endeavour.

In other words, Kung Fu does not have to mean Martial Arts. It can be any area where one has put in time at skilful work, hard training or endeavour.

In my Medicine section I wrote that years and years of training as a healer actually provided the perfect training background for me in warfare. It trained me in Extra-Sensory Perception, in the ability to act Remotely, it gave me the speed and reflexes of no-mind, it trained me in precognition and also in reading boundaries.

Now let me give you another way in which years and years of training before the war exploded in the Matrix made me John Connor. This was years and years of spending an inordinate amount of time drinking with the lads, and living in pubs night after night.

Father Jack

Like my six years in Paris back in the nineties. I drank my way through those years. One long endless party.

Austin Powers back to 1969

That is where I learned much of my most valuable skills that made me John Connor. My skill and wit from countless hours spent drinking with the lads, honing humour, the ripostes, one-upmanship in humour, storytelling. Crying laughing from the craic, fast-fire wit.

Most of my twenties were spent in one long drunken haze. Among the best times I ever spent, and a great investment in honing my Kung Fu.

You see, that is where I learned my Kung Fu for battling the Borg in the Matrix. Military strategy. Always twenty steps ahead. They can't anticipate me. That is where I developed my Kung Fu to be able to run circles around the Pentagon and others here on Earth. They just can't keep up.

That Kung Fu, which is one of my strongest assets as John Connor, was honed from year after year of sessions with the lads down the pub.

So this Elijah Wood guy, who is he?

A few years on and times have changed. My path has changed. I see myself as more in with the girls now.

But the Kung Fu from my years of sessions with the lads, that still stands to me.

You see he is back.

Me, I am the Chosen One. I am the One. I am Neo.

The child, well he has grown up now. He is the Golden Child.

But it is not my task to find him. It is his task to find me.

You see in Golden Age, a lot of things are back to front.

I did not speak to him directly. We looked each other in the eye and smiled and nodded to each other. But in that moment, there was recognition.

It was at an event where I was a spectator.
