Armour
War of the Worlds
I have the highest understanding of
armour in history.
You don't believe me?
Then let us begin.
I often break armour down into two broad classifications. What I call Yin
Armour and Yang Armour.
Let us begin with that as a starting point.
Principles of Armour: Yin and Yang Armour - Part I
Ultimately it's all about people. People are what make the world go round.
Let us take a moment to introduce Master Duan Zhi Liang

Let us now discuss two different approaches in Martial Arts. The approach of
Hard Martial Arts and of Soft Martial Arts.

Hard & Soft Martial Arts: Hard Martial Arts - Part I
Soft Martial Arts however, are actually faster and
harder. To master these styles one must master stillness of mind
and the proper harnessing of chi.

Hard & Soft Martial Arts: Soft Martial Arts - Part I
The term "soft" can be misleading in soft martial arts. The softness refers
to the chi aspect. But when yin is built up, which can happen very
quickly, and then released, it can be released as explosive yang. The
power is built in yin, but released in yang.

Yin Armour and Yang Armour both have their strengths. But the real strength
is in the balance of the two.

Let us illustrate further by looking another example of the principle of yin armour in action. Underground
bases are going to be huge for us in Golden Age, so a lot of my tunnelling,
construction and defensive work has been driven by these bases. Protecting
these bases from seismic activity is ultimately what got me started looking
at this problem of earthquakes.
It is another application of yin armour in action.
